A Tour of Your Workspace
Your workspace is where you create content (encyclopedia pages, citations, images, tables, etc.). You have complete control over the material that is found in your workspace. The following image labels the most important aspects of your workspace.
a. Content Tabs: The series of tabs across the top of your workspace allows you to view each of the forms for the current item. The form that is currently being applied is indicated by darkening the corresponding tab.
- Contents: Displays a list of the items that the current item contains. It is the default form for your workspace.
- View: Renders the item as it will appear in the published form.
- Edit: Shows the form used to alter the properties of the item.
- Local Roles: Defines the permissions for the item.
- Publishing Status: Manages the process used to publish material.
b. Current Item: Shows the current item selected.
c. Content Filter: Restrict the items listed in the contents table to a single type of content.
d. Content Creator: Use this drop down box to select the type of content that you wish to create inside the current item.
e. Select All: By checking this box you can quickly select all of the items in the contents table
