Style for Pages

I need some help here for giving instructions.  It should be clear that this guidance pertains to MS Word documents vs. using the encyclopedia editor itself.

·        Titles should be formatted using Heading 1 style rather than a particular font and size. All words should be capitalized.

·        For subheadings within content, use Heading 2, then Heading 3 styles. Capitalize only the first word.

  • Use “Normal style” for paragraphs of text.

The GPO Style Manual governs FEN writing practice. The current edition of that manual is available online at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/stylemanual/browse.html. Manual rule 8.42, the one that applies here, says that the comma is used "after each member within a series of three or more words, phrases, letters, or figures used with and or, or nor." The rule is accompanied by examples; one of these is "red, white, and blue."
